Weeks went by and business continued to be up and down like a see-saw. Leon tried offering primitive specials to entice people who may not normally try us, but because they could get it at a slight discount, they may try it. The promotion worked. Customers told their friends, and those friends more friends. Suddenly, we had an entire new group of customers brought in by our existing customers. This said to us our food must be good, as these people would not tell that many if the food and service were not excellent. This was a turning point for Sorrento of Arbutus. Suddenly, we had a pretty large customer base, and our name was beginning to become solidified within the community.
